INDEG-IUL ISCTE Executive Education was established 25 years ago as a center of excellence for executive education in Portugal. It is the first executive education school and the first company-university partnership established in the country, resulting from an association between ISCTE-IUL and ten major Portuguese companies and organizations. 

Its mission is to contribute to a sustainable society through executive education, leadership development and applied research. With an active presence in five foreign countries, INDEG-IUL offers international programs in Brazil, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde and China. As for in-company solutions, INDEG-IUL has a portfolio of 30+ of the largest Portuguese firms and organizations.

The school is housed in a landmark building within the campus of ISCTE-IUL in Lisbon. INDEG-IUL is located in the city center and has plenty of transports nearby (e.g., two metro stations; bus; taxis). It is located at a walking distance from several hotels and it is 10 minutes driving from Lisbon’s airport. From INDEG-IUL is also easy to walk or take public transport to any of the city’s famous areas (e.g., Baixa-Chiado; Bairro Alto; Alfama).

ISCTE-IUL is a public university established in 1972. Committed to teaching, research and community services ISCTE-IUL plays a major role in educating and qualifying students with a cultural, scientific and technological background so as to contribute to the sustainable development of organizations and society.

ISCTE-IUL has a well established reputation in business, social sciences, and technology and architecture and operates in four continents. With programs in Brazil, Cape Verde, China and Mozambique, besides the main campus in Lisbon, ISCTE now attracts around 9,500 students, 50% at undergraduate and 50% at graduate levels.

Our Business Research Unit (BRU ISCTE-IUL) strongly promotes research and PhD research projects in the field of management, work and organizational psychology and organizational behaviour.
